Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a score of 94.6, which is better than Xperia 1's 82.6 overall score. Even though the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is notably heavier than Xperia 1, it's somewhat thinner and newer. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features just a little better hardware performance than Xperia 1, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a higher amount of RAM.
Xperia 1 features a more vivid display than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1644 x 3840px and a lot more pixels per inch in the screen. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 takes a little bit better videos and photos than Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for capturing photos and/or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same resolution back facing camera and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also counts with faster video frame rate and a much bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Xperia 1 has just a bit bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has only 128 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy Z Fold 2 has improved battery lifetime than Xperia 1, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 costs a lot more money than Xperia 1, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
