Comparison review
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is slightly better than Sony Xperia 1 II, having a 94.6 score against 91. These phones come with the same Android 11 OS (Operating System), so both should provide identical OS features. Galaxy Z Fold 2's construction is noticeably heavier but thinner than the Sony Xperia 1 II, and they were released only a few months apart.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a bit superior CPU than Xperia 1 II, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a greater amount of RAM. Sony Xperia 1 II counts with a better display than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1644 x 3840 and a lot higher quantity of pixels per inch in the display.
The Xperia 1 II and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 both feature really similar cameras, and although the Xperia 1 II has a larger diafragm aperture to capture better low light captures and video and a bigger sensor taking better quality videos and photos, they both have the same 60 fps video frame rate, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same resolution back camera.
Sony Xperia 1 II features a much greater storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Z Fold 2, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Sony Xperia 1 II also has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB. Galaxy Z Fold 2 features just a bit better battery life than Sony Xperia 1 II, because it has a 13% greater battery size.
