Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is slightly better than the Xperia 5 II, having a 94.6 score against 87.2. Even though Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Xperia 5 II were released only a couple months apart, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 body is thinner but also a lot heavier. Xperia 5 II counts with a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a little bit smaller screen and a bit worse 1080 x 2520 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit greater pixels density.
The Xperia 5 II has a greater storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a bit superior processing unit than Sony Xperia 5 II, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has more RAM.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 features just a bit longer battery performance than Sony Xperia 5 II, because it has a 4500mAh battery size. Xperia 5 II has a bit better camera than Galaxy Z Fold 2, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same resolution camera in the back, the Xperia 5 II also has a larger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light images and video, a larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and better 120 frames per second video frame rate.
Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Sony Xperia 5 II, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Sony Xperia 5 II. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Sony Xperia 5 II, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your savings.
