Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer, having a 94.6 score against 91.5. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a way older and noticeably heavier phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer, but Samsung managed to build it notably thinner anyway. Both devices in this review have Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has the previous 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has Android 12.

Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a bit more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer, and although they both have 8 cores, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a larger amount of RAM. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2400px, it also counts with a just a little higher pixel number in each inch of screen.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer shoots greater pictures and videos than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has worse 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer also counts with a much more mega pixels back camera, a bigger aperture to take better low light captures and video and a way larger sensor capturing lot higher quality videos and photographs.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has as much storage capacity to install games and applications as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 one, both of them have equal 256 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy Z Fold 2 has just a little better battery performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer, because it has a 5 percent greater battery capacity.
