Comparison review
Galaxy Z Fold 2 is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, having a overall score of 94.6 against 76.6. Both phones in this review include Android operating system, but the Galaxy Z Fold 2 has 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10 version. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 design is way thinner but incredibly heavier than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and they were released with only a couple months difference.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a larger amount of RAM. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a bit better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a just a little worse screen pixel density, it also counts with a higher 1768 x 2208 resolution and a bigger display.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a bit better camera than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor capturing less light and duller colors and lower 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have a same size camera aperture and the same video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a camera with a way higher 48 megapixels resolution.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a bit superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity instead of 4500mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, else you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, letting go a couple specs and features.
