The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a global score of 94.6, which is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's 81.1 general score. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a more recent 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has Android 10, giving you a lot of extra features and increased performance. Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro were released with only a few months difference, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 construction is thinner but way heavier.

The Galaxy Z Fold 2 features just a little better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and although they both have 8 cores, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a little bit worse pixels density, it also counts with a bit bigger display and a higher 1768 x 2208 pixels resolution.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a superior camera than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has worse 30 frames per second video frame rate and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for shooting photos and videos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor and a way better 64 mega pixels resolution back facing camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a greater storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a little longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy Z Fold 2, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, giving up a couple specs and features.
