Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has an overall score of 94.6, which is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's general score of 79. Both of these phones use the same Android 11 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't perceive any differences regarding that. Although Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S were released with only 5 months difference, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2's design is much heavier but much thinner.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a little bit lower pixels count in each display inch, it also counts with a bit bigger screen and a better 1768 x 2208 resolution. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a bit better CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has 8 GB more RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S takes much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a tinier camera sensor taking less light and duller colors and lower video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same aperture, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also counts with a camera with a way better resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a bigger memory for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with just a little better battery performance than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most with your money.
