The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is better than the HTC One M9, having a overall score of 90.6 against 77.7. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Z Fold 3 has a newer 11 version while HTC One M9 has Android 5.0 version, providing lots of additional features. Even though the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is a lot heavier than HTC One M9, it's noticeably thinner and extremely newer.
The HTC One M9 features a better screen than Galaxy Z Fold 3, because although it has a way worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a way smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit greater screen density. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 has a superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than HTC One M9, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 224 GB more internal memory capacity.
The HTC One M9 has just a bit better processing power than Galaxy Z Fold 3, because although it has 9 GB lesser RAM, and they both have 8 cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64-bit processor and an additional graphics co-processor. HTC One M9 shoots greater videos and photos than Galaxy Z Fold 3, and although they both have a same size camera aperture, the HTC One M9 also has a camera in the back with a way higher resolution.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 counts with a very superior battery lifetime than HTC One M9, because it has a 55% larger battery capacity.
