The Xperia XZ2 Compact has a global score of 79, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Z Fold 4's 73.4 global score. Both phones in this review work with Android OS, but Xperia XZ2 Compact has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version while Galaxy Z Fold 4 has Android 12, providing the user some nice extra features and some performance improvements.

Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a much more vibrant display than Galaxy Z Fold 4, because it has a little better amount of pixels in each inch of display. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 counts with a better memory to store more apps and games than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal memory.

The Xperia XZ2 Compact features a way better hardware performance than Galaxy Z Fold 4, although it has less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Xperia XZ2 Compact has a really longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Z Fold 4. The Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a lot better camera than Galaxy Z Fold 4, although it has a lot less MP back facing camera.
