Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is better than the Google Pixel 3a XL, having a 91.1 score against 78.9. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has a newer 14 version while Google Pixel 3a XL has Android 11, so it provides a couple nice extra features. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is a noticeably thinner but incredibly heavier phone than the Google Pixel 3a XL.
Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition counts with a brighter display than Google Pixel 3a XL, because although it has a bit less pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1968 x 2184px and a way larger screen. Google Pixel 3a XL has a way better hardware performance than Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition counts with a better camera than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition also has a much higher resolution camera. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has a very superior storage to store more apps and games than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has more internal storage.
The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has a little better battery lifetime than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity against 3700mAh.
Although Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Google Pixel 3a XL, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Pixel 3a XL. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Google Pixel 3a XL, giving up a couple specs and features.
