The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has a general score of 91.1, which is much better than Huawei Mate 8's global score of 77.4. Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition's body is way thinner but noticeably heavier than Huawei Mate 8. Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has a way better looking screen than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have a higher number of pixels per inch of display, the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition also has a much better 1968 x 2184px resolution and a really larger display.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has a way bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The Huawei Mate 8 has an extremely better CPU than Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, although it has lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition counts with a bit better battery life than Huawei Mate 8, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a larger aperture for better low-light images and a way better resolution back-facing camera.

Although Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Huawei Mate 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei Mate 8. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, else you can save some money and get the Huawei Mate 8, letting go a couple specifications.
