Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is better than the LG V40 ThinQ, getting a 91.1 score against 81.2. These devices come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has a newer 14 version while LG V40 ThinQ has Android 10 version. The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition body is incredibly thinner but extremely heavier than the LG V40 ThinQ.
The LG V40 ThinQ counts with an extremely better processing unit than Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, although it has 10 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition counts with a little sharper screen than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a way lower display pixels density and a bit lower 1968 x 2184 resolution, it also counts with a larger screen.
