Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is much better than Galaxy S8, having a score of 91.1 against 81.7. The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition body is extremely thinner but way heavier than the Galaxy S8. Galaxy S8 features a much better performing processor than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition counts with a little bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has a lot less pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a lot larger display and a slightly higher resolution of 1968 x 2184 pixels. The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has much more storage for applications and games than Galaxy S8, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition features a much better battery performance than Galaxy S8, because it has a 4400mAh battery size. The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition takes much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for low-light captures, it also counts with a camera in the back with much more MP.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S8. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy S8, giving up a couple features and specs.
