Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is a bit better than the Galaxy Z Flip, getting a overall score of 91.1 against 88.5. Both devices in this review work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has a newer 14 version and Galaxy Z Flip has Android 12, so it counts with a lot of extra features. Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition's design is much heavier but a lot thinner than the Galaxy Z Flip.
Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has a better display than Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has a just a little worse quantity of pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1968 x 2184 pixels and a bigger display. Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition counts with a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, because it has more internal memory capacity.
The Galaxy Z Flip counts with a way better performance than Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, although it has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition features just a bit better camera than Galaxy Z Flip, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition also has a way more megapixels back camera.
