Comparison review

The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has a score of 91.1, which is much better than Sony Xperia 1's general score of 82.6. The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition design is extremely thinner but a lot heavier than Sony Xperia 1. Sony Xperia 1 features a display that is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition one, because although the Sony Xperia 1 has much less brightness and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels and a way better pixels density.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition features a much better storage capacity to install applications and games than Xperia 1, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity. Xperia 1 has an extremely better processor than Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, although it has 10 GB less RAM, they both have 8 processing cores.

The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition takes much clearer videos and photos than Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for taking pictures or video in low light environments, it also counts with a camera in the back with a way better 200 mega-pixels resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has improved battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 1, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xperia 1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xperia 1. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Xperia 1, letting go some specifications.
