The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is better than Xperia Z4v, getting a general score of 91.1 against 78.8. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is a noticeably heavier but incredibly thinner phone than Xperia Z4v. Both of these devices use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has newer 14 version while Xperia Z4v has Android 5.1, so it provides you some additional features and better performance.
The Sony Xperia Z4v features a way better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Sony Xperia Z4v also counts with a graphics co-processor. Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition takes just a bit better videos and photos than Xperia Z4v, because it has a back camera with a lot higher 200 megapixels resolution and a bigger camera aperture for better photography and video in low-light environments.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xperia Z4v, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xperia Z4v. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Xperia Z4v, resigning a couple specs and features.
