The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is better than Xperia Z5 Premium, getting a overall score of 91.1 against 79.8. The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition design is much heavier but way thinner than Xperia Z5 Premium. These devices come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has newer 14 version while Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1, so it provides the user a lot of extra features.
Xperia Z5 Premium features a more vivid screen than Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 3840 x 2160px and a much better screen pixels density. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition features a superior memory to install applications and games than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory.
Xperia Z5 Premium has a much better performing CPU than Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an additional GPU. Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has a slightly better camera than Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have the same aperture, the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition also has a back-facing camera with much more MP.
Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has improved battery lifetime than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 28 percent greater battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, resigning some specifications.
