Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 8 is just a bit better than Samsung W2017, getting a 79.5 score against 73.2. These devices use Android operating system, but the Asus ROG Phone 8 has the previous 14 version and Samsung W2017 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Asus ROG Phone 8 construction is a little heavier but incredibly thinner than Samsung W2017.
Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a much better display than Samsung W2017, because although it has a way lower pixel density, it also counts with a much bigger screen and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The Samsung W2017 features a much better performance than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has a lower amount of RAM and 4 less processing cores.
