Huawei Mate 8 has a general score of 77.4, which is just a bit better than the Samsung W2017's score of 73.2. Huawei Mate 8 is a somewhat lighter and much thinner cellphone than the Samsung W2017. Samsung W2017 has a bit more vivid display than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a much smaller screen, and they both have the same 1080 x 1920px resolution, the Samsung W2017 also counts with a greater pixels number per inch of screen.
The Huawei Mate 8 has a bit superior CPU than Samsung W2017, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a higher number of faster cores. The Huawei Mate 8 features a camera that's very similar to the Samsung W2017 one, because although the Huawei Mate 8 has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for taking pictures and/or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same video quality, it also counts with better 60 fps video frame rate and a much higher resolution camera in the back.
Huawei Mate 8 has a quite bigger storage for games and applications than Samsung W2017, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that holds 128 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Huawei Mate 8 features a really longer battery life than Samsung W2017, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
