The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a general score of 78.7, which is slightly better than the Samsung W2017's 73.2 overall score. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a way thinner and lighter phone than the Samsung W2017. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and Samsung W2017 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow, giving a lot of extra features and performance improvements.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a little more vivid display than Samsung W2017, because it has a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, a much larger screen and a bit more pixels per display inch.
