Comparison review
The Galaxy Alpha is slightly better than Samsung W2017, getting a 76.3 score against 73.2. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Alpha has the older 4.4.4 version while Samsung W2017 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Galaxy Alpha is a incredibly lighter and notably thinner phone than the Samsung W2017.
The Samsung W2017 counts with a little bit better looking screen than Galaxy Alpha, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better 1080 x 1920 resolution and much more pixels per display inch. The Samsung W2017 features a very superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 64 GB internal memory and an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB.
Galaxy Alpha counts with a bit faster processing unit than Samsung W2017, because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have 4 cpu cores, the Galaxy Alpha also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. The Galaxy Alpha shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Samsung W2017, although it has a way smaller aperture which is not favorable for low light photos and videos, they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the same video frame rates and a back-facing camera with a 12 megapixels resolution.
Samsung W2017 has longer battery life than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 2300mAh battery capacity against 1860mAh.
