Comparison review

The HTC S740 is much better than the Sony Ericsson T700, getting a general score of 42.5 against 37. Although it's the best cellphone in our current comparison, the HTC S740 is a much heavier and a lot thicker cellphone than Sony Ericsson T700. Sony Ericsson T700 has a little sharper display than HTC S740, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have an equal 320 x 240px resolution, the Sony Ericsson T700 also counts with a little higher screen pixel density.

The Sony Ericsson T700 has a much better storage to install applications and games than HTC S740, although it has no external memory card slot. HTC S740 counts with a greater processing power than Sony Ericsson T700, because it has a greater number of cores. Sony Ericsson T700 features a slightly better camera than HTC S740. Both of them have a 3.2 mega pixels back facing camera.

The HTC S740 features a little longer battery performance than Sony Ericsson T700, because it has a 5 percent bigger battery capacity.

The HTC S740 costs a bit more money than the Sony Ericsson T700, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a better phone for that extra money.
