The ZTE ZMAX 2 has an overall score of 55.7, which is a bit better than the Sony Ericsson Xperia Active's 50.8 overall score. Although ZTE ZMAX 2 is noticeably heavier than the Sony Ericsson Xperia Active, it's incredibly thinner and also a lot newer. Both devices in this comparison review have Android operating system, but ZTE ZMAX 2 has newer 6.0 Marshmallow version and Sony Ericsson Xperia Active has Android 4.0 version, so it offers a couple nice extra features and improved performance.
ZTE ZMAX 2 features a bit better processor than Sony Ericsson Xperia Active, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a larger number of cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Active has a little more vivid screen than ZTE ZMAX 2, although it has a lot worse amount of pixels per screen inch, a much lower 480 x 320px resolution and a lot smaller display.
The ZTE ZMAX 2 features a superior storage capacity for applications and games than Sony Ericsson Xperia Active, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 64 GB and 16 GB internal storage. The ZTE ZMAX 2 counts with a much longer battery duration than Sony Ericsson Xperia Active, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity.
ZTE ZMAX 2 has a superior camera than Sony Ericsson Xperia Active, because it has a lot higher resolution back-facing camera and a way better (Full HD) video quality.
ZTE ZMAX 2 not only is the best phones of the ones in this comparison, but it's also a bargain compared to others.
