Comparison review

The HTC Desire X is slightly better than Sony Ericsson Xperia Active, having a 55.8 score against 50.8. Both phones we compare here work with the same Android 4.0 OS (operating system). Although the HTC Desire X is just a little bit heavier than the Sony Ericsson Xperia Active, it's noticeably thinner and also newer.

HTC Desire X counts with a little better hardware performance than Sony Ericsson Xperia Active, and although they both have a 245 megahertz graphics co-processor, the HTC Desire X also has a greater number of 1000 MHz cores and a higher amount of RAM. The HTC Desire X has a little sharper screen than Sony Ericsson Xperia Active, because it has a just a little better number of pixels in each inch in the screen, a much bigger display and a lot higher 800 x 480 resolution.

The HTC Desire X features a way bigger storage for games and applications than Sony Ericsson Xperia Active, and although they both have an external memory slot that supports up to 32 GB, the HTC Desire X also has 4 GB internal storage capacity. The HTC Desire X takes better photos and videos than Sony Ericsson Xperia Active. Both of them have a same resolution camera, the same 720x480 video resolution and the same video frame rates.

The HTC Desire X counts with a much longer battery performance than Sony Ericsson Xperia Active, because it has 1650mAh of battery capacity.

Despite of being the best phone in our comparison, the HTC Desire X is also by far the cheapest, making it a no doubt choice.
