The Galaxy Young is a little bit better than the Sony Ericsson Xperia arc, having a 54.8 score against 50. Galaxy Young's design is newer and just a bit lighter than Sony Ericsson Xperia arc's, although it is also a lot thicker. These phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Young has a more recent 4.1.2 version while Sony Ericsson Xperia arc has Android 4.0.4 version, providing you some extra features and performance improvements.

The Galaxy Young has a bit better hardware performance than Sony Ericsson Xperia arc, although it has a weaker graphics processing unit running at 128 MHz, they both have a Single-Core processing unit.
