The LG Mach is a little bit better than Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY, getting a 57.5 score against 52.5. These phones use Android OS, but the LG Mach has a newer 4.0 version and Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY has Android 2.3.3, providing the user some extra features. LG Mach's design is newer, a little bit lighter and incredibly thinner than the Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY has a bit sharper screen than LG Mach, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY also has a little more pixels per inch of display and a little higher 854 x 480 resolution. The LG Mach features a bit faster processing unit than Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY, because it has 512 MB more RAM memory, a greater number of cores and a better 400 MHz graphics processor.
Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY features a bit better camera than LG Mach. They have the same video frame rate, a same resolution camera and the same 1280x720 video definition. LG Mach features a much bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY, and although they both have a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 32 GB, the LG Mach also has 7,6 GB more internal memory.
The LG Mach has a bit longer battery life than Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY, because it has 1700mAh of battery capacity against 1500mAh.
Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, LG Mach is also very cheap compared to the other ones.
