Samsung Wave 3 has a score of 54.2, which is a bit better than the Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro's 49.3 overall score. Although Samsung Wave 3 and Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro were released only 7 months apart, Samsung Wave 3 is lighter and noticeably thinner. The Samsung Wave 3 has bada 2.0 OS, and Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro comes with Android 2.3 OS.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro features a bit more vivid display than Samsung Wave 3, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per screen inch and a slightly better 854 x 480 resolution. Samsung Wave 3 features a little faster processing unit than Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro, although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, they both have 1 processing cores.

Samsung Wave 3 counts with a little bit better camera than Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro, although it has a lower 1280x720 video resolution and a lot less MP camera. The Samsung Wave 3 features a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 32 GB, the Samsung Wave 3 also has 2,75 GB more internal storage capacity.
