Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy has a score of 45.1, which is slightly better than Sony Ericsson Xperia X8's 44 score. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy has the older 1.5 version while Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 has Android 2.1. The Samsung Galaxy is an older and a bit heavier cellphone than Sony Ericsson Xperia X8, but Samsung was able to build it thinner anyway.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 counts with a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 480 x 320px, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 also counts with a little bit greater pixel amount in each screen inch. Samsung Galaxy has a lot bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Ericsson Xperia X8, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 has a more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy, because it has an extra graphics co-processor and a higher number of cores.
