T-Mobile myTouch has a general score of 44.5, which is just a bit better than Sony Ericsson Xperia X8's 44 general score. The T-Mobile myTouch design is newer and incredibly thinner, but also a little bit heavier than the Sony Ericsson Xperia X8. These phones have Android operating system, but the T-Mobile myTouch has a more recent 2.3.4 version and Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 has Android 2.1 version, providing some extra features and performance enhancements.

T-Mobile myTouch features a more vivid display than Sony Ericsson Xperia X8, because it has a larger screen, a higher pixels density and a much higher 800 x 480 resolution. The Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 counts with a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than T-Mobile myTouch.

The T-Mobile myTouch counts with a bit better CPU than Sony Ericsson Xperia X8, although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, they both have 1 CPU cores. T-Mobile myTouch features superior battery performance than Sony Ericsson Xperia X8, because it has 1500mAh of battery capacity.
