Comparison review

The Xperia 1 II has an overall score of 91, which is just a bit better than Asus ZenFone 8's score of 83. Despite of the fact the Xperia 1 II is older and just a little bit heavier than Asus ZenFone 8, it's body is still thinner. These phones use the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't notice any difference in that aspect.

Asus ZenFone 8's CPU is just as good as the processor in Sony Xperia 1 II, and although the Asus ZenFone 8 has lesser RAM, they both have 8 cores. Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a display that's just as good as the display in Sony Xperia 1 II, although the Asus ZenFone 8 has a way lower pixels density, a way lower 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a little bit smaller screen.

Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a very superior camera than Sony Xperia 1 II, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low light captures, and they both have a same size sensor, the Asus ZenFone 8 also counts with a back facing camera with a lot higher resolution and a much higher video quality.

Sony Xperia 1 II counts with a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has 256 GB internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 1000 GB. The Asus ZenFone 8's battery life is just as good as the Xperia 1 II one.
