Comparison review
Sony Xperia 1 II has a global score of 91, which is slightly better than the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G's global score of 90.5. These devices work with Android OS (operating system), but the Sony Xperia 1 II has a newer 11 version while Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has Android 10. The Sony Xperia 1 II is a somewhat thinner and just a little lighter cellphone than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, even when both of them were only released with a few months difference.
The Xperia 1 II features a brighter display than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Xperia 1 II also has a way better 1644 x 3840 resolution and a much higher screen pixel density. Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G's processor is just as good as the processor in Sony Xperia 1 II, both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount.
Xperia 1 II features a much bigger memory for games and applications than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, and although they both have the same 256 GB internal memory capacity, the Xperia 1 II also has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 1000 GB. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G features a little longer battery duration than Sony Xperia 1 II, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G captures much better photographs and videos than Xperia 1 II, and although they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same sensor size, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G also has a bigger camera aperture and a lot better 40 MP resolution camera.
