Comparison review
Xperia 1 II has a global score of 91, which is better than Huawei P30's global score of 81.7. Both of these phones include Android OS, but the Xperia 1 II has newer 11 version while Huawei P30 has Android 10, so it gives a couple nice extra features. Xperia 1 II is a newer device than the Huawei P30, but it is just a little bit thicker and just a little heavier.
Xperia 1 II features a bit superior processor than Huawei P30, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 II also has more RAM memory. Sony Xperia 1 II has a sharper screen than Huawei P30, because it has a lot higher 1644 x 3840 resolution, a much higher screen pixels density and a little bigger display.
The Huawei P30 counts with a better camera than Xperia 1 II, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for capturing images in poorly lited situations and worse video frame rate, and they both have the same back camera sensor size and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P30 also counts with a camera in the back with a much better resolution.
Xperia 1 II counts with a much bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei P30, because it has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1000 GB and 256 GB internal storage capacity. Xperia 1 II has just a bit longer battery performance than Huawei P30, because it has a 4000mAh battery size against 3650mAh.
