Sony Xperia 1 II is better than Huawei P40 Lite, with a general score of 91 against 79.5. These devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Sony Xperia 1 II has 11 version while Huawei P40 Lite has Android 10, so it gives you a couple additional features. Sony Xperia 1 II's construction is just a little bit thinner and just a bit lighter than Huawei P40 Lite, although both of them were released only 3 months apart.
The Xperia 1 II features a more vivid screen than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has a much higher resolution of 1644 x 3840, a little bit larger screen and a way higher screen pixels density.
