Comparison review
The Xperia 1 II is just a bit better than Huawei P40 Pro, getting a 91 score against 88.2. Even when Xperia 1 II and Huawei P40 Pro were released with only 2 months difference, Xperia 1 II is somewhat lighter and thinner. Both of these devices include Android OS, but Xperia 1 II has a more recent 11 version and Huawei P40 Pro has Android 10 version.
Huawei P40 Pro counts with a processing unit that is very similar to the Xperia 1 II one, both of them have the same number of cores and 8 GB of RAM memory. The Xperia 1 II has a little sharper display than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a greater amount of pixels per display inch and a better 1644 x 3840 resolution.
