Xperia 1 II has a global score of 91, which is much better than LG G7 ThinQ's 81 score. These phones use Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia 1 II has the previous 11 version and LG G7 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie. Xperia 1 II is a somewhat heavier cellphone than the LG G7 ThinQ, but they are equally thin.

LG G7 ThinQ counts with a bit more vivid screen than Sony Xperia 1 II, although it has a bit smaller display, a bit less pixels per inch in the display and a bit lower 1440 x 3120 resolution. The Xperia 1 II has just a little better performance than LG G7 ThinQ, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 II also has 4 GB more RAM memory.

The Sony Xperia 1 II shoots a little bit better videos and photos than LG G7 ThinQ, because although it has a much lower 12 MP resolution camera, a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for capturing photographs or video in low light situations and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a lot larger camera sensor capturing much higher quality videos and photos.

Xperia 1 II features superior battery performance than LG G7 ThinQ, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.
