Comparison review
Xperia 1 II is better than LG Q70, with a overall score of 91 against 77.9. These phones include Android OS, but the Xperia 1 II has a more recent 11 version while LG Q70 has Android 10 version, so it offers some nice extra features and performance optimizations. Xperia 1 II is a a little thinner and a bit lighter cellphone than the LG Q70, even though both of them were released with only a few months difference.
The Xperia 1 II features just a little better hardware performance than LG Q70, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 II also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Xperia 1 II features a sharper display than LG Q70, because it has a much higher 1644 x 3840px resolution, a lot better screen pixels density and a little bigger screen.
LG Q70 has a slightly better camera than Xperia 1 II, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rates, a smaller aperture which is not nice for capturing photos or video in poorly lited situations and a lot smaller camera sensor which offers a lot lower photo and video quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the LG Q70 also counts with a camera in the back with lot more megapixels.
The Sony Xperia 1 II has much more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than LG Q70, because although it has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage capacity. The Xperia 1 II and the LG Q70 feature incredibly similar battery durations.
