Xperia 1 II is better than the Microsoft Surface Duo, getting a 91 score against 78.8. The Xperia 1 II body is much lighter but thicker than Microsoft Surface Duo, and they were released only 4 months apart. Both devices in this review include Android OS, but the Xperia 1 II has 11 version while Microsoft Surface Duo has Android 10, so it gives you some additional features.
Sony Xperia 1 II has a more vivid screen than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 and a way greater display density. The Microsoft Surface Duo's processor is just as good as the processing unit in Xperia 1 II, and although the Microsoft Surface Duo has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Xperia 1 II features a superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo, because it has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 1000 GB and more internal storage.
