Xperia 1 II is slightly better than the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, with a 91 score against 86.3. These devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia 1 II has an older 11 version while Motorola Edge 50 Pro has Android 14 version. Xperia 1 II is an much older phone than the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, but Sony managed to make it just a little bit thinner and a little lighter anyway.

Xperia 1 II counts with a much better performance than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, although it has less RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro features a bit better screen than Xperia 1 II, because although it has a way worse 1080 x 2400 resolution and much lesser pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a bit bigger screen.

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro takes much clearer pictures and videos than Sony Xperia 1 II, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting higher quality photos and videos, a back-facing camera with much more mega pixels and a bigger aperture to capture better low light photos.

Xperia 1 II counts with slightly more memory capacity to install applications and games than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, because although it has just 256 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 1000 GB. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro counts with a bit superior battery life than Xperia 1 II, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
