Xperia 1 II is much better than Motorola Moto G 5G, with a global score of 91 against 81.5. Even when the Xperia 1 II and Motorola Moto G 5G were only released with a couple of months difference, the Xperia 1 II is notably thinner and lighter. Both of these devices work with Android operating system, but Xperia 1 II has a newer 11 version while Motorola Moto G 5G has Android 10 version, counting with a couple additional features.

Sony Xperia 1 II has a bit better processing power than Moto G 5G, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 1 II also has a larger amount of RAM. The Sony Xperia 1 II counts with a much better display than Moto G 5G, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher pixels number per inch in the display and a much higher 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution.

Motorola Moto G 5G has a bit better camera than Sony Xperia 1 II, because although it has slower video frame rates, and they both have a same size aperture and the same video quality, the Motorola Moto G 5G also counts with a back facing camera with lot more megapixels. The Xperia 1 II counts with a much bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Moto G 5G, and although they both have an external SD slot that supports up to 1000 GB, the Xperia 1 II also has 192 GB more internal storage.

Moto G 5G has improved battery duration than Xperia 1 II, because it has a 25 percent larger battery size.
