Comparison review

The Xperia 1 II is just a bit better than the Motorola One 5G, with a 91 score against 84.6. Xperia 1 II is a lighter and thinner cellphone than Motorola One 5G, even though they were released with only a couple of months difference. Sony Xperia 1 II has a bit better processor than Motorola One 5G, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Sony Xperia 1 II also has a larger amount of RAM.

Xperia 1 II has a brighter display than Motorola One 5G, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels and a lot higher pixel amount per display inch. Motorola One 5G has a superior camera than Xperia 1 II, because although it has slower 30 fps video frame rates and a tinier camera sensor which offers a worse image and video quality, and they both have a F1.7 diafragm aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Motorola One 5G also counts with a way better 48 megapixels resolution camera in the back.

Xperia 1 II has a much better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola One 5G, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1000 GB, the Xperia 1 II also has 128 GB more internal memory capacity. Motorola One 5G counts with greater battery duration than Sony Xperia 1 II, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
