Sony Xperia 1 II is better than the Motorola One Zoom, having a 91 score against 80. Even though the Sony Xperia 1 II and Motorola One Zoom were only released 9 months apart, the Sony Xperia 1 II is just a little lighter and somewhat thinner. Xperia 1 II counts with a more vivid display than Motorola One Zoom, because it has a much higher resolution of 1644 x 3840px, a much higher number of pixels per inch in the display and a bit larger screen.

Xperia 1 II features a bit more powerful CPU than Motorola One Zoom, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 II also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Motorola One Zoom captures much clearer videos and photos than Sony Xperia 1 II, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rate and a tinier sensor capturing lower quality videos and pictures, and they both have a same size aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Motorola One Zoom also counts with a back camera with a much higher resolution.

The Xperia 1 II features a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Motorola One Zoom, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 1000 GB. Motorola One Zoom features a battery duration that's very similar to the battery duration in Xperia 1 II.
