Comparison review
The Xperia 1 II has a global score of 91, which is better than the OnePlus 8 UW's score of 75.9. The Xperia 1 II construction has the same thickness than OnePlus 8 UW, but it's just a little heavier. Both phones we compare here come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia 1 II has newer 11 version and OnePlus 8 UW has Android 10, so it provides you some nice extra features and enhanced performance.
OnePlus 8 UW has a processor that is very similar to the processor in Sony Xperia 1 II, both have a Octa-Core processor and the same RAM memory amount. The Sony Xperia 1 II counts with a bit better looking display than OnePlus 8 UW, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Sony Xperia 1 II also has a lot better 1644 x 3840 resolution and a lot greater display pixel density.
Sony Xperia 1 II has a very superior memory to store more games and applications than OnePlus 8 UW, because it has more internal memory and a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 1000 GB. OnePlus 8 UW features a better camera than Xperia 1 II, because although it has a smaller sensor shooting lower quality photos and a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for capturing images or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the OnePlus 8 UW also counts with a much more MP back camera.
The OnePlus 8 UW has just a little bit longer battery duration than Xperia 1 II, because it has an 8% more battery capacity.
