Comparison review
Xperia 1 II is just a bit better than the Galaxy A50s, with a general score of 91 against 86.6. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but Xperia 1 II has the newer 11 version while Galaxy A50s has Android 10 version, providing you lots of additional features. The Xperia 1 II is a just a bit heavier and a little bit thicker device than Galaxy A50s.
The Xperia 1 II counts with just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A50s, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 II also has 2 GB more RAM memory. Sony Xperia 1 II has a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy A50s, because it has a way higher 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution, a much greater number of pixels per inch of display and a little bigger screen.
The Galaxy A50s has a superior camera than Xperia 1 II, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor taking lower quality images and videos, slower 30 fps video frame rate and a smaller aperture which is not nice for low-light images and videos, and they both have the same video definition, the Galaxy A50s also counts with a camera with a much higher resolution.
Sony Xperia 1 II features a much bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A50s, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB. Sony Xperia 1 II and Samsung Galaxy A50s have extremely similar batteries performance.
