Comparison review

Xperia 1 II is much better than Galaxy Alpha, having a 91 score against 76.3. Both of these devices include Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia 1 II has an older 11 version while Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4 version. Despite being the best in our current comparison, the Xperia 1 II design is thicker and a lot heavier than Galaxy Alpha.

The Xperia 1 II has a bit better processing power than Galaxy Alpha, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with a greater number of cores and 6 GB more RAM memory. The Xperia 1 II has a little more vivid display than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a way bigger display, a much higher amount of pixels per inch of screen and a much higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels.

The Sony Xperia 1 II has a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same resolution back camera, the Sony Xperia 1 II also has faster 60 fps video frame rates and a much bigger aperture. The Sony Xperia 1 II features a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1000 GB and 256 GB internal storage.

The Xperia 1 II features a way better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 115 percent greater battery size.
