The Sony Xperia 1 II has a score of 91, which is much better than Galaxy M12's 80 score. Both phones we compare here include Android OS, but Sony Xperia 1 II has a newer 11 version and Galaxy M12 has Android 10, providing the user a couple additional features. Even though Sony Xperia 1 II is older than the Galaxy M12, it's body is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner.

Xperia 1 II counts with a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy M12, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xperia 1 II also has 4 GB more RAM. The Sony Xperia 1 II counts with a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy M12, and although they both have a same size display, the Sony Xperia 1 II also has a much higher count of pixels per inch of display and a lot better 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution.

The Xperia 1 II has much more memory for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy M12, because although it has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB against 1 TB, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. Xperia 1 II features a little bit better camera than Galaxy M12, because although it has a camera in the back with way less mega-pixels, it also counts with a larger aperture for better low light captures and videos and a much better (4K) video definition.

Galaxy M12 features a superior battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 1 II, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
