The Xperia 1 II has a global score of 91, which is a little bit better than Galaxy M40's overall score of 85. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but Xperia 1 II has 11 version while Galaxy M40 has Android 10. Xperia 1 II's body has the same thickness than the Galaxy M40, but it is a little heavier.

Xperia 1 II has a little better performance than Galaxy M40, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia 1 II also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Sony Xperia 1 II has a brighter display than Galaxy M40, because it has a bit bigger display, a lot more pixels per display inch and a lot better 1644 x 3840 resolution.
