Comparison review

Xperia 1 II is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy M51, with a general score of 91 against 87.7. Both phones we compare here work with Android OS (operating system), but the Xperia 1 II has a more recent 11 version while Samsung Galaxy M51 has Android 10 version, counting with a couple additional features and some performance improvements. The Xperia 1 II body is lighter and thinner than the Samsung Galaxy M51, although both of them were released with only a few months difference.

The Sony Xperia 1 II has a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy M51, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much better 1644 x 3840 resolution and way more pixels per inch of display. The Sony Xperia 1 II has a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy M51, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Sony Xperia 1 II also has more RAM memory.

Galaxy M51 features a superior camera than Xperia 1 II, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor shooting lower quality photographs, a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for low-light photos and lower 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Galaxy M51 also counts with a camera in the back with much more mega pixels.

Xperia 1 II has a very superior storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy M51, because it has 128 GB more internal memory and an external SD slot that admits up to 1000 GB. Galaxy M51 counts with a way better battery lifetime than Xperia 1 II, because it has a 75% more battery capacity.
