Xperia 1 II is better than Galaxy Note 3, getting a 91 score against 81.2. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Xperia 1 II has the newer 11 version and Galaxy Note 3 has Android 5.0 version, so it provides the user a lot of extra features. Xperia 1 II's construction is extremely newer and a little bit thinner than Galaxy Note 3's, but it's also a bit heavier.

The Sony Xperia 1 II features just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and a higher number of cores. Xperia 1 II features a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because it has way more pixels per display inch, a lot better resolution of 1644 x 3840 and a bit larger display.
