Sony Xperia 1 II is slightly better than the Galaxy S6 Edge, getting a global score of 91 against 85.7. These phones include Android operating system, but the Sony Xperia 1 II has the newer 11 version while Galaxy S6 Edge has Android 5.0 version, so it provides you a couple nice extra features and performance optimizations. The Sony Xperia 1 II is a way newer phone than Galaxy S6 Edge, but it's a little thicker and noticeably heavier.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a little bit better performance than Xperia 1 II, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with an extra graphics processing unit and a 64-bit processing unit.
