Comparison review
Sony Xperia 1 II is slightly better than the Galaxy S6 Edge, getting a global score of 91 against 85.7. These phones include Android operating system, but the Sony Xperia 1 II has the newer 11 version while Galaxy S6 Edge has Android 5.0 version, so it provides you a couple nice extra features and performance optimizations. The Sony Xperia 1 II is a way newer phone than Galaxy S6 Edge, but it's a little thicker and noticeably heavier.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a little bit better performance than Xperia 1 II, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with an extra graphics processing unit and a 64-bit processing unit. The Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a bit sharper screen than Sony Xperia 1 II, although it has a lot lower resolution of 2560 x 1440px, a bit worse pixel amount per inch of display and a really smaller screen.
The Sony Xperia 1 II counts with a much better camera than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a lot less MP resolution camera and a worse 3840x2160 video resolution, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture for better low-light photos and videos and a lot bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
