Comparison review
Xperia 1 II has a score of 91, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip's global score of 88.5. Both phones in this review work with Android operating system, but the Xperia 1 II has older 11 version and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has Android 12. Even though the Xperia 1 II and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip were only released with a couple months difference, Xperia 1 II's body is just a little bit lighter but also just a little bit thicker.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip counts with a bit superior processing unit than Sony Xperia 1 II. Both of them have 8 CPU cores and 8 GB of RAM memory. Sony Xperia 1 II counts with a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much better pixel count per inch in the display and a lot better 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution.
Xperia 1 II counts with a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy Z Flip, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Xperia 1 II also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB. The Xperia 1 II features improved battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
Sony Xperia 1 II counts with a bit better camera than Galaxy Z Flip, and although they both have the same video quality, a back facing camera with a 12 mega pixels resolution and the same 60 frames per second video frame rates, the Sony Xperia 1 II also has a much larger sensor which offers a lot better image and video quality and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better captures and videos in low-light situations.
